About Us

ABOUT KY DEVIL DOG SERVICESWhy “Devil Dog”?
The term Devil Dog is a proud nickname associated with the United States Marines, traditionally linked to their fierce determination during the Battle of Belleau Wood in World War I in 1918. According to Marine Corps tradition, German forces referred to the Marines as Teufelshunde, meaning “Devil Dogs,” in recognition of their tenacity and fighting spirit. Although the historical origin of the nickname is debated, it remains a symbol of Marine Corps pride, courage, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to the mission.
At KY Devil Dog Services, that legacy inspires how we serve: with integrity, discipline, accountability, and a commitment to putting people before projects.Veteran Owned. Mission Focused. Results Driven.Experience That Makes a DifferenceFounded by Marine Corps veteran Nickolas R. Stone, KY Devil Dog Services draws on more than 31 years of federal service, including over two decades in operational leadership, workforce management, labor relations, purchasing oversight, compliance, and organizational performance. Our experience includes Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, administrative investigations, internal controls, policy interpretation, and performance improvement.Emergency Management & Operational ReadinessOur founder brings extensive emergency-response experience, including incident command and operational safety, HazMat Technician and HAZWOPER training, WMD/CBRN preparedness, and emergency-response coordination. If a meeting doesn't produce a decision, an action, or a measurable outcome, why did we have it?Our Faith & Leadership PhilosophyOur Christian faith is foundational to how we lead, serve, and conduct business. We believe leadership requires integrity, humility, accountability, perseverance, and genuine concern for others.People before projects.

Faith Is Our Foundation. Service Is Our Calling.

FAITH & LEADERSHIPFaith Is Our FoundationAt KY Devil Dog Services LLC, our Christian faith is not separate from how we conduct business. It is the foundation of how we lead, serve, make decisions, and treat others. We believe leadership is a responsibility entrusted to us by God. It requires integrity when no one is watching, courage when decisions are difficult, humility when correction is needed, and a commitment to serve others before ourselves.People before projects.Strength Through Perseverance — Romans 5:3–5Scripture teaches that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. This is not simply a motivational philosophy. It is a divine progression through which God develops and strengthens His people.Trials are not always obstacles to our mission. Sometimes they are the very circumstances God uses to prepare us for greater responsibility. We believe lasting leadership is forged through adversity, strengthened through perseverance, and demonstrated through character. From Foothold to StrongholdScripture warns us against giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Small compromises, when left unchallenged, can grow into patterns that undermine character, relationships, and leadership. But Scripture also teaches that God equips us to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4–5).Our responsibility is to recognize destructive influences, confront them with biblical truth, and remain grounded in Christ.Where compromise creates weakness, obedience to God builds spiritual strength.Servant Leadership — John 15:5Jesus teaches that He is the vine and we are the branches. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. We do not believe that titles, authority, or professional accomplishments define a leader's worth. True leadership is measured by faithfulness, service, accountability, and the positive influence we have on others. Our responsibility is not simply to accomplish a mission, but to honor God in the way we accomplish it.Our CommitmentWe strive to conduct every business relationship with honesty, fairness, accountability, and respect. We will not compromise our Christian convictions for financial gain, professional recognition, or convenience. We recognize that our clients, partners, and employees may hold different beliefs. We are committed to treating every person with dignity, respect and professionalism.God, country, corps, family.People before projects. Faith before fear. Service before self.“Here am I. Send me!” — Isaiah 6:8
